A new microsite for Barry Callebaut
Barry Callebaut wanted to publish its first Forever Chocolate report which would show the company’s progress in terms of their sustainability targets. An online report format was chosen for its resource efficiency, easy access and distribution. The new site was to be built in collaboration with London-based communication agency SalterBaxter, who designed the report with reference to Barry Callebaut’s annual report, which is also built and published by Amazee Labs.
Based on the uniform design with big, colorful hero elements and beautifully displayed data, the information became easily comprehensible. In addition to its responsiveness, the use of animations added a lively appearance to the site. We used the Drupal Paragraphs module to build all the media and text options. From an editor's point of view, this means that anything can be reused anywhere else. Also, making it easier to replicate selected features for future annual reports.
We delivered a highly-responsive and engaging site that includes certain graphical elements which can be replicated in any upcoming annual report.
